Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: July 1, 2026
1. Overview
Forgekite, operated by Peakure LLC, is a first-party accounts-receivable (AR) follow-up tool. It helps you chase invoices that are owed to you or to clients you represent, on your behalf and under your own sender identity. This Acceptable Use Policy sets the rules for using Forgekite lawfully and responsibly. It applies to every account and forms part of our Terms of Service.
You are responsible for your use of Forgekite and for the content of the reminders you send through it. You must comply with all applicable laws, including debt-collection, communications, and consumer-protection laws.
2. First-party collections only — no third-party debt collection
Forgekite is designed for first-party AR follow-up: chasing invoices owed to you (or to a client whose receivables you administer), sent from your own domain. You may not use Forgekite to operate as a third-party debt collector — for example, buying or being assigned debts and collecting them for your own account, or collecting consumer debts on behalf of others in a way that would make you a “debt collector” under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) or equivalent laws.
Forgekite is not a consumer-collections product. You may not use it to pursue consumer (business-to-consumer) debts where third-party collection rules would apply.
3. SMS and TCPA consent
SMS reminders (available at later escalation stages) may only be sent to recipients who have given prior express written consent to receive them, as required by the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and related rules. You must not enable or send SMS reminders without that consent. Forgekite gates SMS behind your attestation of consent; providing a false attestation is a breach of this policy.
4. No harassment or abuse of recipients
You must not use Forgekite to:
- Harass, intimidate, threaten, or abuse any debtor or recipient.
- Send messages at unreasonable frequency or times intended to harass.
- Make false, misleading, or deceptive statements about a debt, its amount, or the consequences of non-payment.
- Impersonate a court, government agency, law firm, or collections agency, or threaten legal action you do not intend or are not entitled to take.
- Disclose a debt to third parties who have no right to that information.
5. No unlawful or deceptive content
You must not use Forgekite to send unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, or deceptive content, or content that violates the rights of others. You must ensure the invoices and amounts you pursue are genuine and accurate.
6. Data you import
You may only import, connect, or upload invoice, contact, and debtor data that you have the right to use for collections follow-up. You must not import data obtained unlawfully or in breach of another party's terms, and you must handle recipient data in line with applicable privacy laws.
7. No misuse of the service
You must not:
- Attempt to breach, probe, or circumvent the security of Forgekite or its infrastructure.
- Use the service to send spam or to relay messages unrelated to legitimate AR follow-up.
- Interfere with, overload, or disrupt the service or other users.
- Reverse engineer, resell, or provide the service to third parties except as permitted by your plan.
8. Consequences of violation
If you violate this policy, we may suspend or terminate your account, remove offending content, and — where required — cooperate with law enforcement. We may act immediately where we reasonably believe your use creates legal risk, harms recipients, or threatens the integrity of the service. Termination for a violation does not entitle you to a refund except as stated in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
